Wine Stock

August 30, 2011

By Brianne Harrison Moore

Celebrate Labor Day weekend at Natali Vineyards’ Wine Stock Farm Festival, this Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 a.m. The event will feature live music, local vendors, and, of course, Natali’s own wines.

Eight local bands will take to the stage to perform and compete for the audience prize of $1,000. Bring blankets and lawn chairs, kick back, listen to some music, and vote for your favorites. Cool off at the Sangria Bar, which will feature three different sangrias by the glass, as well as frozen wine slushies and Natali’s wines by the glass and bottle.

All 23 acres of Natali’s farm will be open and scattered with vendors selling food, mementos, and gifts. In addition, Beacon Animal Rescue, the event’s featured non-profit group, will be on hand with information about the animals in their care. They’ll be offering great prizes at an auction to raise money for the organization as well.

The event is free and open to people of all ages (must be 21 or older to drink). Gates open at 11 a.m. and bands will start performing at 12. For more information, visit
