Relax, there are plenty of days left in summer to soak up the sun…but I’m a retailer and I always have to look ahead to the next season. And this year I am really excited about these backpacks I found made from recycled materials and priced under $45!

Ecogear bags are made with planet-friendly organic cotton, PVC-free materials, recycled plastics, and toxic-free dyes and components. This means the backpacks have a dual benefit: their manufacture and eventual disposal are cleaner, and so is the air in children’s classrooms. Yes, a bunch of kids bringing in PVC-coated items like backpacks, binders, and pencil cases does add to indoor air pollution. So if buying a bag and other school supplies made using cleaner, more earth-friendly methods helps improve the air quality and eliminate breathable toxins in a place where kids spend the majority of their waking hours, why wouldn’t we choose them over traditional products? Especially when the price and styling is a great as these bags?

Even adults can benefit: Ecogear also carries luggage, sleeping bags, and laptop cases.
