It’s a great weekend for music lovers!

First up, kick up your heels at Swinging with Simone’s Jersey Bounce on Friday from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Learn to swing dance in a lively, friendly environment. No partner necessary! General admission is $15, students with ID are $10. The swinging starts at Downtown Montclair Women’s Club. For more information, visit swingingwithsimone.com.

On Sunday, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center will host the third annual Heart and Soul Music Fest. Get important health information while celebrating the African American experience through music and art. The Fest starts at 2 p.m. at MacKay Park on North Van Brunt Street in Englewood. For those thinking ahead, next weekend is the Local and Legend Benefit Festival, featuring Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer Bernie Worrell. Worrell will be joined by local musicians at Unionville Vineyards in Ringoes. Bring lawn chairs and picnics to enjoy live music and wine tastings. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Music for Charities organizations, as well as Local and Legend, a non-profit providing scholarships to students pursuing a career in music and the performing arts. Adults are $15, children $8. The festival starts at 11:30 a.m. and goes until 8 p.m. Tickets are available at localandlegend.com.
