Many of us worry about the ingredients in our cosmetics, and yet give very little thought to what’s in the tools we use to put those cosmetics on our faces. When was the last time you considered the chemicals and bleaches that might be in the cotton pad you’re using to blend your foundation?

Fortunately, there’s a solution. Koh Gen Do, a company dedicated to producing all sorts of products that are good for the skin, has started introducing certified organic cotton to its line. The absence of chemicals and bleaches make their products good for your body and ideal for use on even the most sensitive skin.

Koh Gen Do’s Spa Water Cleansing Cloths are infused with thermal water from the Yumura Hot Springs in Japan and enriched with six skin-nourishing herbs, including rosemary, sage, and lavender. The alcohol-free cloths are great for women on the go, as the small packs tuck easily into a purse and are safe for airplane travel. The company’s organic cotton pads are perfect for both applying and removing makeup.
