Holiday Shopping Done Right

October 29, 2010

By Brianne Harrison

Believe it or not, we’re on the threshold of November, which means holiday season is upon us. If you’re anything like me and like to get an early start on your seasonal shopping, NJ Aid for Animals and Aenigma Jewelry have a great opportunity for you.

From noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, Collingswood-based Aenigma will host a shopping event to benefit NJ Aid for Animals. A portion of all sales that day will be donated to NJAFA, which will be on hand to introduce shoppers to some of the sweet dogs and cats they have available for adoption. Enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres while you cross gift recipients off your list (or treat yourself to something) and shop for a good cause!

The event runs from 12 Noon to 9 p.m. at Aenigma, 6 Powell Lane, Collingswood. For more information, visit aenigmajewelry.com or njafa.org.

Mark your calendars…

Greyhound Friends of New Jersey will be hosting its own shopping-related fundraiser December 11 and 12. Their 14th Annual Craft Show and Pet Expo will feature vendors, raffles, photos with Santa, and, of course, lovable greyhounds available for adoption. For more information, visit greyhoundfriendsnj.org.
