Gala Season

April 6, 2010

By Brianne Harrison

Spring is in the air—the weather’s improved and the flowers are blooming, which must mean it’s just about time for St. Hubert’s annual Canine Cotillion, an event that’s heralding the start of spring for the tenth year running.

Dress up and take your favorite four-legged (or two legged!) date to Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone April 10 for a fun and festive evening that aims to please humans and canines alike. The evening starts with a cocktail reception at 6, followed by a seated gourmet dinner. Dogs will be treated to delicacies as well, and you can commemorate the evening with a photograph by award-winning photographers from The Image Maker. Both silent and live auctions will add to the festivities, and attendees can purchase “Rescue Ropes,” which can be redeemed for prizes, with the proceeds benefiting the homeless animals at St. Hubert’s.

Tickets are $275 per person and include the admission of one dog. For more information, visit sthuberts.org

Save the Date:
The annual Starry Night Gala is on its way and promises to be better than ever! This year’s event, which benefits the American Cancer Society, will include a cocktail reception, gourmet food, live entertainment, a silent auction, an exclusive diamond raffle, and the chance to win a luxury car at the hole in one challenge. The Gala will take place May 22 at Trump National Golf Club. For more information, contact Ann Villa at 973.285.8023 or ann.villa@cancer.org
